What kinds of projects do you take on?
Pretty much all sizes! Some clients just want help pulling together one room, while others are looking for a full home design. I’ll meet you where you are.
What’s your design style?
Think timeless, relaxed, and elevated. I love neutrals, black and white, muted colors, and modern pieces that feel fresh but not overly trendy. The goal is always a beautiful space you can actually live in.
Can you work with what I already own?
Definitely. If you’ve got pieces you love, I’ll find ways to incorporate them. Mixing old and new often creates the most interesting spaces.
How does the process work?
It all starts with a conversation so I can learn about your space and your vision. From there, I’ll put together a design plan, source furnishings and finishes, and help manage the details all the way through installation and styling.
Do I need a big budget to work with you?
Not at all. Every project is different, and we’ll talk about your budget up front so I can recommend the best options. Whether you’re investing in a full renovation or making small updates, I’ll help you get the most out of what you spend.
How long does it usually take?
It really depends on the scope. A simple room refresh could take just a few weeks, while bigger projects naturally take longer. Once we know what your project looks like, I’ll give you a clearer timeline.
Do you work with contractors?
Yes—I often collaborate with builders, architects, and contractors to make sure everything comes together smoothly.
Do you offer virtual design?
Yes! If you’re not in Franklin, TN, or just prefer to work remotely, I can create a design plan, mood boards, and a shopping list for you to implement at your own pace.
What if my spouse and I don’t agree on design?
Happens all the time! Part of my job is to listen to both of you and find a design that feels like “home” to everyone. It usually comes down to blending styles in a way that works—and sometimes introducing ideas you both end up loving.
Do you only do neutral color palettes?
Not at all. While I naturally lean toward neutrals and softer tones, I love adding color in ways that feel timeless and intentional. If you adore a bold color, we’ll find a way to make it shine without overwhelming your space.
I’m worried my house isn’t “fancy enough” for a designer—should I still reach out?
Yes! Design is for everyone, not just people with brand-new homes or huge budgets. My favorite projects are the ones that turn an everyday house into a place that feels really special to live in.
